Headshot of Jeremy

Jeremy Lai

Position: Physiotherapist - Sydney

Jeremy is a thorough Physiotherapist with a passion for making sure participants live the best life possible. With a wealth of clinical experience, Jeremy is excited to be putting his skills and experience into supporting NDIS participants with Ability Action Australia.

Throughout his degree, he took part in several placements that allowed him to interact with people of varying ages with a range of conditions, from neurodegenerative conditions to burns management.

He gained valuable experience in the aged rehabilitation ward at War Memorial Hospital, the acute neurosurgery ward at Prince of Wales Hospital, as well as the Paediatric Burns Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Jeremy’s research project explored the use and experience of the NDIS for Australians with skeletal dysplasia. This included a survey that collected important information on their NDIS experience and history. After this, Jeremy conducted interviews with individuals to further understand their NDIS experience.

Jeremy provides support for a range of conditions, including:

  • Developmental delays
  • Neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease
  • Chronic diseases, such as diabetes and osteoporosis

“I love being able to provide support and empowerment to people with disability so that everyone has equal and equitable access to living a quality life,” he says.

Jeremy is thrilled to be working with NDIS clients in Sydney.
